Appointments
You may reach us by calling (425) 673-3420. The first step towards getting the care you need is scheduling an appointment. We try our best to make this quick, easy and hassle-free. When you call for your appointment, please let us know the specific reason for your visit.
If you have more than one problem, please mention this when you are making your appointment. This allows us to set aside enough time for you to see your provider.
If you cannot make it to an appointment, please give us twenty-four hours notice. This allows us to reschedule your appointment and permits us to see another patient. We will make every effort to be on time for your appointment and we ask that you be on time as well.

Telephone Calls
Telephone calls will be triaged by our receptionist, who will either refer you to the appointment desk, billing or to a nurse, who can answer many of your basic medical questions. The nurse will communicate with your provider to determine the next step and will advise you if you need to be seen. All calls will be handled as quickly as possible.
After-Hours Calls
Our after-hours service is designed for urgent and emergency calls that cannot wait until morning. If you are having a life-threatening emergency, call 911. A physician is on call twenty-four hours a day for urgent care needs. If you call Mill Creek OB/GYN after hours, our answering service will forward you to the physician on-call.
Emergency Care
If you are having a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. If the situation is not life threatening or it relates to your pregnancy, please call Mill Creek OB/GYN's twenty-four hour phone number, (425) 673-3420.
Prescriptions and Refills
Prescriptions and refills are handled during regular office hours. We can serve you faster if you call your pharmacist and request that they call or fax Mill Creek OB/GYN. A twenty-four hour turnaround is standard. The physician on-call will not usually refill prescriptions after hours.
Laboratory Services
The majority of our laboratory services are handled by outside labs that will bill you directly for any services. Lab tests routinely performed at the office include pregnancy tests, hematocrits and routine urinalysis. All other blood, urine, pap smears and culture specimens are sent to an outside lab for testing. You will be notified of your results by mail within one to two weeks. You will be contacted by phone if certain tests require further follow-up treatment.
Release of Medical Records and Information
Your medical records are strictly confidential. Your permission is required before Mill Creek OB/GYN will release information about your care.
We must have a release signed by you in order to release your records to another party. After you authorize us to release information from our records, it may take up to two weeks to process your request.

Fees, Payment and Insurance
Our office is contracted with many insurance companies. If we have a contract with your insurance company, we will bill them directly for services provided to you. If we do not contract with your insurance company, we will bill for services provided, however, you are responsible for ensuring payment to us and following up with your insurance company if needed.
If your insurance plan has a co-payment, we are required by your insurance company to collect this at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.
Many insurance companies do not cover preventive healthcare. It is important that you are aware of services covered by your insurance plan. If you have questions about covered services, please contact your insurance company directly.
