Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Steinberg grew up in Houston, Texas, where her parents still live. She received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. After college she returned to Houston for medical school and graduated in 1996 from Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Steinberg then completed her residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., in 2000. While there she received numerous awards for her surgical skills, research on polycystic ovary syndrome and patient care.

Dr. Steinberg is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her special interests in medicine include high-risk obstetrics, menopause, incontinence, pelvic reconstructive surgery, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery and other minimally invasive surgery techniques. It is the interesting people she meets every day, however, that make her enjoy her work so much.

In her leisure time, Dr. Steinberg enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, experiencing the outdoors and spending time with her family.

"I believe that no two women are identical. My job is to inform a woman of her choices so she can make the best decision for her health."
